Joining Information 2011 - 12
The 231st Glasgow Company Boys' Brigade Junior Section is for boys who are in the Primary 4 - Primary 6 age range.
We meet each Friday evening, starting at 6.30pm and finishing at 8.30pm, from first Friday in September until the first Friday in May.
We usually DO NOT meet when the schools are on holiday but this is subject to change.
Enrolment for the new session (2011 - 2012) will be on Friday 2nd September 2011 at 6.15pm in the church halls.
Annual Subscription for this year will be £23.00 and there is a £1 collection per boy every Friday evening.
We require the following information on our application form : boy's name, address, post code, date of birth, school and class, parent's home telephone, mobile 1, mobile 2, e-mail 1, e-mail 2 and business telephone, boy's doctor, address, telephone, required medication during BB activities and any allergies.
Cathkin District – Annual Junior Section Sports
Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena, Glasgow

The following boys represented the 231st Junior Section in this year’s District Sports competition:
P6 – Ewan Brown, Jack Herbert, Ewan Walker, Cameron Johnstone, Ross Johnston and Stephen Hutcheson
P5 – Jamie Croll, Innes Collins, Struan Sinclair, Dylan Best and Max Carnie
P4 – Connor Black, Robbie MacDonald, Cameron Walton and Craig Thomson
We competed extremely well against some very tough opposition, in 3 different events, and managed to produce some excellent results. The events were 60 meter dash, Long Jump and Shot Putt, 4 x 60 meter relay and tug-of-war.

A big thanks to all the staff, parents and friends who turned up to support the boys on the night. Support and encouragement is always worth that “extra man”.
We hope that ALL our boys enjoyed the competition this year and they should be extremely proud of being part of the winning team.
We look forward to defending the trophy next year.
